1. Acceptance of terms
By engaging Handyman Services Dubai for any work, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms; the current version always applies.
2. Quotes and pricing
Our AED 99 callout fee covers diagnosis and a written quote on the spot. If you proceed with the quoted work, the AED 99 is adjusted against the final invoice. If you decline, you pay only the AED 99. All quotes are valid for 14 days from issue.
3. Scope of work
We will perform work strictly within the scope of the written quote. Additional work requested on-site is quoted separately before commencement. We will not commence work outside the agreed scope without your written approval.
4. Payment terms
Payment is due on completion for jobs under AED 5,000. For larger projects, a 30% deposit is required on agreement with the balance due on completion. We accept cash, debit/credit card on-site, and bank transfer.
5. Workmanship warranty
Most jobs carry a 30-day workmanship warranty. AC servicing 60 days, gas refills 90 days, painting 6 months on finish, renovations 12 months. Warranty covers the work we performed and any materials we supplied. It does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or work performed by third parties.
6. Cancellation policy
You may cancel a booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled arrival without charge. Cancellation after dispatch incurs the AED 99 callout fee. For scheduled larger projects, cancellation terms are stipulated in your written contract.
7. Liability
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance covering damage caused by our team during work performed. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by your existing systems failing during work, or consequential losses (such as displaced accommodation costs).
8. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with our work, please contact us within 7 days so we can rectify the issue. Disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be referred to Dubai Consumer Protection or arbitrated through Dubai Courts as applicable.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.
